I met Lindsey just five years ago in the summer of 2004. Our three year wedding anniversary is in a couple of weeks. Audrey will be two in December. So many good things crammed into such a short span of time. I don't know how I got so lucky. He still thinks of me as sparkly, even when I'm feeling as dull as the bottom of a thrift store shoe. He is so supportive. A remarkable find. Again, I'm lucky. I know it. I don't take it for granted.

That pretty lady without glasses and in the yellow dress is my grandma. She died this summer. I thought I was dealing with it, but we went to her house a couple of weeks ago to do some cleaning and sorting and I haven't been the same since. Just some kind of lingering low-level sadness that I can't seem to shake. She was an awesome grandma. I miss her. I'm so glad she and Audrey were able to spend time together.
